The Case of: "The Purse"

The Suspects: Littlest Bug

Case Notes: As the girls and I are leaving the house (without Queen Bug), Littlest Bug turns to me and says; "Daddy, where's your purse? Hold on, stay here, I'll find it for you."

My purse? MY purse? Screw that and no "man-bags/man-purses" either!

The Case of: "Super Pose"

The Suspects: Littlest Bug

Case Notes: We went to the mall today and visited the LEGO store. While we had fun there we also decided to pick up a building set for the girls. We settled on the "Cafe" legos and brough them home. Later that evening Littlest Bug, who is not 3 yet, built this "super" design. Thanks daughter of mine...thanks.

The Case of: "The Updates Oct 09"

The Suspects: The Bugs

Case Notes: Some Updates With "The Bugs"

Queen Bug - Started training for her new job last week. She was hired a few weeks back and decided to give her two-week notice. That two-week notice turned into 2-day notice when they decided not to honor her Paid-Time-Off and give her the run-around about a bunch of stuff. She got two-weeks at home with everybody instead of two-weeks at a godforsaken place of employment.

Daddy D - Just started getting used to Queen Bug being home at night again and now we're moving towards her NOT being once her new job starts for "real". Hockey season has started and the Penguins left off right where they began...kickin some butt. 7-1 so far on the season, the Stanley Cup Champs are defending their crown nicely.

Little Bug - Is doing great in school. She loves learning. It's amazing how much kids love the idea of school at a young age. Why does that not stick around? She is doing very well with her recognizing words and names, and even writes her own name well enough for others to read it. Aside for that and having an imaginary friend/little brother named Shawn, sometimes Shawlk....yes that's right....she is doing pretty great.

Littlest Bug - My baby is getting bigger. No doubt about it. She has really blossomed into a young girl and it's kind of great, kind of sad too. My favorite thing about her right now is that she really wants me to sit with her or lay on the couch with her. She always asks if I will "sit wif me" or she'll say "I scooped out for you". She is also very loving when she's not throwing a tantrum about "told me what to do", which is her most common comeback..."Little Bug told me what to do", "mommy told me what to do"....

The Case of: "Language Usage"

Photobucket

Case Notes:

There are many things we hear as parents that make us laugh, makes us cry, make us mad, and so on an so forth. There are many things we SAY as parents that you can't believe we are saying (thanks Brian Regan). The latest 2 that are playing out at the moment...

Little Bug: "You didn't see me."
She is using this whenever she is in trouble. If you didn't 'see' her do it, she didn't do it. even if you are right next to her, if you weren't looking AT her, then "you didn't see me"! Ahhh. Attitude!

Queen Bug: "Would you get your finger out of my nose."
Something Queen Bug probably never fathomed having to say to another human being!

The Case of: "Back Talking, Jive Turkey"

The Suspects: Little Bug, Littlest Bug

Case Notes: Argument of Queen Bug and The Girls

Queen Bug: - Both of you have disappointed me today with your fighting and screaming! I won't be taking you to any stores for a month."

Little Bug: - "Well, what are you going to do when you have to buy food?"
